Stake Account Verification in Nigeria – Accepted Documents and Steps

Stake verifies the identity of its players to protect accounts and payments. The compliance team can request any document it needs at any time, so keep your details accurate and your ID ready, especially before a withdrawal.

Accepted Identity Documents

Stake accepts only the following documents for identity checks in Nigeria:

  • International passport;
  • National ID card, both sides;
  • Driver’s licence, both sides;
  • Voter’s card, both sides;
  • Temporary NIN slip, both sides, plastic version only.

Any other type of document is rejected. You upload the documents after you log in to your account. On a phone, the same upload works in the Stake mobile app.

Document Photo Requirements

Uploads that miss any of these rules are sent back, so check them before you submit:

  • high-resolution colour images;
  • original photos only, no screenshots;
  • clear and readable, without flash glare or blur;
  • no physical damage to the document;
  • the whole document visible and lying straight;
  • at least 3 months left before the document expires;
  • Latin international format;
  • a photographed paper or plastic document, not a digital version.

Step 2 Re-confirm your login

Press the button to confirm again through Google, Facebook or Kick.

Step 3 Approve the request
